1. Design a newsletter / Brochure on the following topics according to your Roll numbers -
    a.  Extinct Animals                        Roll No. 1 to 15
    b. Endangered Animals                 Roll No. 16 to 30
    c. Endangered Birds                     Roll No. 31 to 45
    d. Herbs & their Medicinal Use    Roll No. 46 Onwards

2.Be a Green Crusader :    (Roll no. 1 - 20)
   The major challenge to the mankind is how to Combat Global Warming . As an alert and responsible
   citizen on earth, design a 'Green City' which can reduce carbon emission.Make a model of Green city with
   important features of Green city like use of hybrid cars which run on solar energy instead of petrol/diesel,
   Green buildings etc. to make your model ECO-FRIENDLY.

  Note : Your city should depict at least 8 features.Do not use thermocole for base.

3.Collect at least six different forest products like spices,gums,rubber,sandalwood etc.Arrange them in an
   attractive box and also mention their use in our daily life.Also make poster on Save the forest or  
   Importance of Forest on A-4 size sheet. (Roll no.21-35)

4.Prepare a power point presentation (at least eight slides) on your State Bird i.e.Sparrow.Your presentation
   should include following points- habitat of sparrow,eating habits of sparrow,why it is getting endangered,
   what steps can be taken to save it,its breeding season,how to distinguish between male and female
   sparrow.
   Also design a poster with slogan to create awareness to save sparrow.Poster has to be designed on A-4
   size ivory sheet. (Roll no. 36 Onwards)

Summer Break

I. Herbarium  ( 1 - 12 Roll no.)
    Collect leaves of five trees from the place which you are visiting in the summer holidays.Find information
    about those trees. e.g. their fruits and flowers which grow on them , their use and importance.
 
II. Ikebana  (13 - 24 Roll no.)
    Flowers have sweet fragrance. Collect at least six different bright coloured fragrant flowers , dry them and  
    paste them on an A-4 size coloured sheet. Find out information on the flower like
    a. Where they grow?
    b. What is their use?
    Write information below the flower on an A-4 sheet.

III. Paryavaran    (25 - 36 Roll no.)
      Saving environment is an important step towards making a sustainable and safer future.Be a Green  
      crusader and spread awareness  around your neighbourhood.
      (a) Take cut outs from bright coloured pastel sheets and write the slogans in bold letters to Save Water ,
           Save Electricity , Save Paper and No Polybags.
     
      (b) Write a poem related to environment in beautiful handwriting on an A-4 size pastel sheet. Also make
            illustration to support the same.

IV. Aquarium  (Roll no. 37 Onwards)
      Students to make aquarium in a Shoe-Box . Put 5 different sea animals , plants like weeds , underwater
      plants , corals , shells , stones etc. Cover your aquarium with a transparent cellophane sheet.Also write
      information on sea animals on an A-4 size sheet.
